Who is this Madman??????.
That is the quintessential question, isn’t it. WHo is this guy? Don’t we all ask ourselves that every day? Who am I? What am I about? What do I stand for?
Well, after almost 58 years on this planet, here is what I have arrived at. First and foremost I am a father. Not a job I thoughts I would ever claim first on my resume, but there it is. I have 6 children, 3 of them adopted. And there is a little bit of a gap between the first two and the next 4, like a 22 year gap. I tell my older kids it’s because they scared me so badly I had to take a full generation gap to get over the damage they inflicted on my. They tell a different story I am sure.
I am a husband, and since this is my third go round, I guess you could say I am a pro now. I go where I am told, do what I am told, say what I am told….. most days.
I am a professional. I have been in the technology sector for almost 35 years now, and since they keep me around and promote me, I must be doing something correctly, not sure what, but something.
I am a survivor. I have seen the hell this world has to offer having been in 2 combat zones and 4 years in the war on drugs in the military, and that carries some baggage. And come to find out I have GAD, Generalized Anxiety Disorder with a little PTSD sprinkled on top.
And I am a creator. The whirling swirling maelstrom that is my mind comes up with ideas all the time, and here, is where I share them. So please, engage, add conversation, disagree with me, convince me to see a different viewpoint.
